Bringing the Massage to You!

Geriatric Massage is a form of massage designed to meet the specific needs of the elderly.  It helps to improve blood circulation, relieve pain, and also increase range of motion. Geriatric massage can help you maintain and improve your overall  health, as well as regain certain physical functions that have been reduced due to aging.  In addition, since the elderly don't typically receive enough physical touch, this massage can
also help alleviate symptoms of loneliness or depression.

I have been seeing Lyn for regular massages for more than a year. it is my favorite time of the week because her massages are so relaxing and effective. Each one is tailored to my body's specific needs and I always leave feeling AMAZING - body and mind. Lyn is great! Alayna B.
Lyn comes to our office and provides 20 min. massages to our staff. She has been coming here over 2 yrs. Her appt. times are always filled. Lyn is a amazing addition to our company. She keeps us relaxed and feeling GREAT! Sherise W.
Lyn is great at releasing the deep tension that builds up in my back and shoulders from stress and travel. I also notice a real benefit for my sports recovery when I am getting regular work from Lyn. Plus her rates are so reasonable without the overhead of a spa. Ian C.
Thank you for the wonderful massages! You are gentle but firm and a blessing! Kathryn from Holland

Types of Massage

Classic Swedish Massage is a good choice if you just want to relax and restore. Using massage strokes such as effleurage (long broad strokes) and petrissage (kneading technique), the massage is geared toward improving circulation and accessing the parasympathetic nervous system to allow you to thoroughly relax.

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage is recommended if you have areas of your body that need special attention.  You know those "knots" in your back between the shoulder blades or upper shoulders and neck?  Or if you have any kind of sports injury like IT Band Syndrome, Shin Splits etc., deep tissue work incorporates specific massage techniques to break up those knots and scar tissue related to injury.

Sports Massage can be used as a means to enhance pre-event preparation and reduce recovery time for maximum performance during training or an event.  Athletes have discovered that specifically designed sports massage promotes flexibility, reduces fatigue, improves endurance, helps prevent injuries and prepares their body and mind for optimal performance.

Pregnant Massage

Pregnancy or Prenatal Massage is a wonderful complementary choice for prenatal care. Imagine being nestled in a bed of pillows and being catered to by someone who understands the special needs of each and every individual mother-to-be.  Prenatal massage relieves many of the normal discomforts experienced during pregnancy, such as backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).  It can also reduce stress on weight bearing joints, encourage blood and lymph circulation and help to relax nervous tension, which aids in better sleep and can help relieve depression or anxiety caused by hormonal changes.
